Most founders analyse the wrong name. Here is the order that avoids that.
Start with the name people will say
The registered name and the trading name are rarely identical. It is the name customers actually use that reaches the market, so that is the one to optimise first.
Entity suffixes do not count
Private Limited, LLP, Limited and their equivalents are conferred by a registrar. Millions of companies carry them, so they carry no signature of their own. Everything you chose yourself does count — including words like Enterprises, Solutions or Industries.
The compound matters more than the digit
Two names can both reduce to 5 while behaving very differently, because one arrived there from 41 and the other from 23. Always read the two-digit total alongside the reduced one.
